Create a new partition in SCCM & deploy OS in the newly created partition...

To perform OS deployment using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), you can follow these general steps:

1. Prepare the Operating System: Obtain the installation media or source files for the operating system you want to deploy. This could be an ISO file, a network share, or a customized image.

2. Create a Task Sequence: In SCCM, create a task sequence that defines the steps and configurations for the OS deployment. This includes specifying the operating system source, drivers, applications, and any customizations you want to apply during the deployment.

3. Add Operating System Image: Import the operating system image into SCCM. This involves adding the installation source files to the SCCM library and creating a new OS image package.

4. Add Drivers: Import the necessary drivers for the target hardware models. SCCM provides driver management capabilities to ensure the correct drivers are applied during the OS deployment.

5. Customize the Task Sequence: Configure the task sequence by adding the desired steps, such as formatting the disk, applying the OS image, configuring partitions, installing drivers, joining a domain, and installing applications. You can customize the task sequence to meet your specific requirements.

6. Deploy the Task Sequence: Deploy the task sequence to the target collection of devices. This can be a specific group of computers or an entire organizational unit.

7. Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor the deployment progress in SCCM to ensure the OS deployment is proceeding as expected. SCCM provides logs and reports that can help troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the deployment process.

8. Post-deployment Configuration: After the OS deployment is complete, you can perform additional configuration steps, such as applying software updates, configuring policies, and installing additional software.

It's important to note that the specific steps and details may vary depending on your SCCM version, environment configuration, and organizational requirements. It's recommended to consult the SCCM documentation and resources specific to your version for detailed guidance on OS deployment using SCCM.

Mentioned are the steps to create a new partition in SCCM BareMetal Task Sequence and install operating system on the newly created partition:-

Create a new partition by clicking on the yellow button.
Choose the partition type to primary and check "Make this the Boot Partition".
