Part 6 - Certificate Configuration in RD Gateway Manager,Certificate Selection in https Binding of Default site in IIS 8.
Accessing RD Web from client machine.
From the client machine, open Internet Explorer & browse
to following URL:-
https://company name.myftp.org/rdweb
it will give a certificate warning this is because we have
used Self-Signed certificate in RD Web & RD Gateway in the RDS role
deployment property. A certificate issued from Certificate Authority will not
give such warning.
Click “Continue to this website”
If a pop up like this appears click on Run Ad-on:-
Click on Run:-
Enter your domain account credentials & click “Sign in”
After signing in you will see all the application’s and
collections Published.
Click on the collection or app you want to access.
Using Apps & Machines present in RD
Web.
From the RD web console I am accessing the Win 8 machine by
double clicking the collection name icon.
Following warning message may appear, Check all the boxes
& click “connect”:-
Enter user credentials again & click on “ok”
From the Hyper-V console of the RDS server you can see which
machine is getting connected, if the machines are switched off the machine
connecting will be automatically started and start using the resources:-
Back On client machine:-
Apps present in the RD Web can be accessed in a similar way.
